Apple® Store Opened in Lehigh Valley on September 29, 2007

Apple® Computer opened the new Apple® Retail Store at Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall, PA, on Saturday, September 29. The store is between J. Crew and Bravo! Cucina Italiana, a restaurant at the far right end of the outdoor shops if you're facing Macy's.

Genius Bar™

The Genius Bar™ is the place to go for free advice, insight, and hands-on technical support for your Mac® or iPod®. Consultation at the Genius Bar™ works by reservation only. Mac® Geniuses provide face-to-face tips and advice, answer your questions, and do repairs when necessary. You might be wondering how to go wireless, how to download music to your iPod®, or how to update your software. Mac® Geniuses are there to help with your technical concerns. If a repair is needed, the Genius will explain your repair options and any applicable charges, and check in the equipment. The session will take approximately 15 minutes, depending on the issue. The Genius may run diagnostic tests on your system and consult with other customers during the run time.

Personal Training at the Apple® Store

Apple® trainers — experts in all things Apple® — create a program customized to your level of experience. You can choose individual sessions covering everything from getting started on a Mac® to making more out of your memories. Or explore any topic you like. All for just $99 per year. This entitles you to up to one, one-hour, one-on-one session each week for one year. Personal training sessions are designed to move at your pace and provide the support and guidance you need, whether you´re new to Mac® or ready to master the latest pro software.

ProCare membership starts with a complete setup of your Mac. Then stay up and running with premium benefits like same-day service at the Genius Bar™, Rapid Repairs, yearly tune-ups, and more. All for just $99 per year, for up to three computers.

Apple® Camp

Apple® Camp, available at some Apple® Store locations, provides an opportunity for kids and families to participate in fun and engaging activities. Each Camp Workshop consists of two and a half hours of hands-on learning, doing cool stuff on Macs. Campers complete their own project that they will take home on CD or DVD.

All four Camp Workshops are recommended for kids ages 8 to 12. Select from

  • Podcast Workshop,
  • iWeb and iPhoto® Workshop,
  • Music Workshop and
  • Movie Workshop.

You may sign up for up to two Camp Workshops.

School Night at the Apple® Store

School Night at the Apple® Store brings students, teachers, and parents together to celebrate student projects created on a Mac. Students create digital projects. They learn how to edit presentations with iMovie® and iPhoto®, write music, create websites, jam to their own podcasts in GarageBand, and show it all off on their iPod®. They have fun learning.

No matter what kind of business you're running, the Business Consultants at the Apple® Store will partner with you to provide one-on-one consultations and help you get everything you need. Whether you want to find the right Mac, upgrade your network, enhance your business software, or get iPod®s to use as incentives, Business Consultants can help you do it all. And if you have creative questions or need technical assistance, they will introduce you to the people who can serve you best.
